What are Glo-Blades?

Glo-Blades are a really cool, revolutionary skating product that is going to forever change the world of skating. They're truly like nothing you’ve seen before! Every once in a while an exciting new product comes along that changes everything. Something so different, so uniquely game-changing, that it reaches beyond its immediate market to impact everyone. Totally unexpected, totally new. That’s Glo-Blades!

Are Glo-Blades only for ice skates?

Heck no! Glo-Blades are awesome on inline skates at dusk! You'll turn heads like never before... And, you'll readily be seen by drivers for a much safer outdoor skating experience. In the rinks, you'll put on your own personal light show to rock the floor!

What about quads (4-wheel roller skates)?

Our focus has always been on straight-blade skates, and primarily on ice due to the magic effect Glo-Blades create on ice. Currently, we are not pursuing a product on quads, but who knows what will happen down the road…

So, when will they be ready to buy?

As of this time Glo-Blades are still under development. Several prototypes have been created and tested with great success. From the early days of banging around ideas to recent perfecting of the physical product, it’s been an evolutionary process of testing, re-testing, and constant refinement. Our current models have been used extensively, surpassing our expectations, and are performing beautifully on professional level skaters as well as novice. Currently, our projected launch date for the first retail model is Q4 2013.

Can’t I just build my own?

Well, possibly... if you're savvy with electronics, environmental physics and mechanical engineering. But they likely wouldn't compare to original Glo-Blades; we've been building and testing for over two years. And, Glo-Blades are well protected by patents so you couldn't legally sell them, of course.

What are KrazySkates?

KrazySkates are the little sister to Glo-Blades. Less features, less wow! factor, less money. Far easier to manufacture and produce, Krazyskates may be on the market first. But nothing compares to genuine Glo- Blades - they're like nothing you've seen before!

The best way to learn more is to stay in touch by signing up for news here. And, if you're in northern California stop by Snoopy's Home Ice in Santa Rosa (Redwood Empire Ice Arena) and you may just catch a glimpse of Glo-Blades in action. Also, maybe you caught us live (on Rollerblades!) at Wells Fargo Center for the Arts last year in a fantastic local rendition of Alice's Wonderland Adventures. Or, maybe the popular Snoopy's Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on ice. Other public showings will occur in the future and be shared via newsletter updates. Stay tuned!
